  80. then DOS Menu is the program for you...

  82. DOS Menu is a shareware program.  This evaluation version includes
  83. all features of the program, and is not crippled in any way.  You may
  84. use it for up to 30 days, without charge (see DOSMENU.DOC for more
  85. details).  If you like the program, and wish to continue its use after
  86. this evaluation period, you are required to pay for the program (see
  87. REGISTER.DOC for more details).  Any fee you may have paid to others
  88. (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this evaluation version was a

  114. The installation procedure for DOS Menu is quite simple.  The
  115. package includes a program, "INSTALL.EXE", which automates the
  116. entire process.  You will need about 200K of available disk space
  117. on the hard drive on which you plan to install DOS Menu.
  118.  
  119. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received
  120. DOS Menu.
  121.

  123. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  124.  
  125. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  126.  
  127.    o  Place the DOS Menu distribution diskette in the
  128.       appropriate diskette drive.
  129.  
  130.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program on the distribution diskette.
  131.       For example, if the distribution diskette is on drive A:, type
  132.       the MS-DOS command, "a:install".
  133.  
  134.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  135.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  136.       are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The
  137.       program will ask you for a destination directory, and will copy
  138.       the DOS Menu files to that directory. If you so direct it, the
  139.       installation program will install executable programs and
  140.       documentation in other directories of your choice.  It will make
  141.       no other changes; specifically, it will not modify your
  142.       autoexec.bat or config.sys files.

  145. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  146.  
  147. If you downloaded DOS Menu from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  148. archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
  149. following steps.

  151.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file(s) in a temporary
  152.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  153.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  154.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  155.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  156.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  157.       directions for this from the same source from which you received
  158.       the package.

  160.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program which you have extracted.  For
  161.       example, if the temporary directory into which you have extracted
  162.       the DOS Menu package is C:\TEMPDIR, you would execute the MS-DOS
